On Saturday, April 22nd, Charter Oak Chess Club hosted its 1st Books and Blitz Event at the Westport Public Library. 9 players particpated in the Round Robin tournament including 2 National Masters!

Congratulations to NM Ryan Young for winning the tournament with a perfect 8/8 score! Matthew Shirvell finished in 2nd place with 6.5/8 and Mansoor Taj Mohammed and NM Gary Shure tied for 3rd place with 5/8.
